team emily (i guess)

it has been 15 seasons (i think) of the bachelor and i can actually say that i have yet to watch one whole episode of the show. i LOVE reality tv but for whatever reason i never got into this show. i do know that brad (the bachelor) has been on a previous season of the bachelor. i do know that he did not propose to anyone on that season. what i do not understand is why everyone was so angry with him for this decision. he was not in love with any of those women so then he got crucified for not proposing because it messed up the premise of the show! how does that make sense?!

like i previously stated, i know nothing about this show but i do hope that he picks the blonde girl (emily). and just to prove that i truly am a redneck, the reason that i want him to pick her is because she was engaged to nascar royalty ricky hendrick and then dated dale earndhardt jr. her friend signed her up for the show so she could find love again.

so i guess that i could say that i am on "team emily" -- although i would say it rather half-heartedly because i really don't care that much! in fact, by the end of tonight i still will not have watched one whole episode of the bachelor because i know that i will hear the results constantly tomorrow on every news show, entertainment show, etc.

tug of war at the precocious one's field day at school. she won quite a few of the events during field day...tug of war was not one of these events however! i came to watch her class during the morning and then i volunteered to help with the older classes in the afternoon. it was fun but by the end of the day, i had a horrible headache! i was outside all day and it was incredibly windy and the smoke from nearby grass fires made it that much worse! oh well, a shower, some tylenol, a nap and some wine and i felt much better!

oh my gawd! it's official -- in-n-out burger has already broken ground on the site here in town. i am going to weigh like 400 pounds soon from eating there all of the time. the good news is that i do have to drive about 20 minutes away to eat there but that is so much closer than say...california (where i have previously had their mouth-watering deliciousness)! about 8 years ago the hubby and i went to san diego to visit my brother and while we were there we had in-n-out burger. it was REALLY good and the french fries (my biggest weakness) were too die for! the only problem that i am having now is, maybe i built in-n-out burger up too big in my head. what if i go there for the first time and i'm like "eh". no, that does look pretty damn good!

i am totally anti-motorcycle and i have always told my husband that he could get a harley when the youngest child was 18 years old because i don't want to be left a widow raising 2 kids with no money! well, for some reason i caved! i LOVE to get a good deal and the deal on buying this motorcycle was definitely a good deal.
