this picture is probably not very self-explanatory. it is a spot that is smack-dab in the middle of my living room carpet! it's not just any spot -- it is bright RED nail polish! my precocious one was painting the little ones nails. i knew that they were doing it but they had a towel spread out and i didn't know that they had any nail polish that was so dark! anyway, they spilled the bottle...off of the towel. a few days later my wonderful hubby and his friend used carpet cleaner, oxyclean (a miracle concoction) and some major elbow grease and managed to make the spot almost disappear!

the precocious one (after her awards ceremony at school). she got an award for "A" honor roll and for "Star Student" of the 6 weeks! very proud of her!
